Channeling – What the heck is it anyway?

My explanation is sure to be contentious – I can only provide my own explanation couched in the manner in which I understand and relate to it.

My Definition – Channeling

Channeling is another means of communication different than the normally accepted methods. The normal methods involve getting, receiving, sending or providing information accessible to you or others through well-established, readily accepted ways and means.

Channeled information is unique in that the information receiver believes they received information mentally -- in an unconventional way. A way not well established or readily accepted by others. The channeling experience is only relevant to the one experiencing it – I know intuitively a "channeled" communication is not "normal". Is this true? Is it provable? – Does it matter? I think these points are irrelevant. Perhaps what is relevant is the information!

I distinguish between "channeled" information and my own thoughts like this; If I begin to wonder about an issue or question I do not know the answer for and very suddenly receive a very clear and decisive answer that surprises and delights me – I believe I channeled that answer. Conversely, if I begin to think of an answer using my regular cognitive reasoning capabilities, once I reach a conclusion – I believe I thought up the answer. My own thinking used a process to arrive at an answer – channeled answers are spontaneously received without a conscious thinking process.

I believe everyone has channeling capabilities. The trick is to be able to have a question, to be able to mull it over, cogitate on it and NOT think about THINKING of an answer. The normal thinking instinct needs to be suppressed to enable channeling. This, I think, is quite difficult to do without being let in on the technique.

In my case, channeled answers invariably "POP" right into the mind with startling suddenness and clarity. They always surprise me. I always marvel at them because I would have never come up with "that" answer under my own low wattage brainpower. Click explain for more detail on channeling ~(Wave)~ style.
