You have been downloaded to citizen! and I do NOT mean electronic file transfer. Listen carefully, gentle reader, if you strain your hearing just a little, you will catch the last soft gurgling noise of the last wide-eyed technocrat drowning in the vast ocean of information from the information age. Not even good information mind you, just unbelievable scads of invalidated, unorganized, information stuff--mostly, misinformation. Managing this mega-mayhem of stuff 'n junk will "busy you up" and keep your focus so phase II may begin un-noticed. With that last gasp, I do hereby declare the information age - over. PERIOD

Mark this day well for it is destined to be known as the dawning of the next NEW age. The age of download, or to remain consistent with traditional naming convention, the "Download age." You were there and will remember this defining moment in the years to come, something to tell you grandkids about or the little goobers next door. They may even ask why we allowed it to happen. If the downloading I refer to is NOT FTP or electronic file transfers between computers, then what exactly, am I talking about?

I am talking about the downloading of RISK from THEM to YOU.

In today's National newspaper there is an article which states, "The hottest market segment TODAY is RISK management consulting. The reason the segment is hot is the epidemic of demand for RISK management consulting services. These "bad image" repair services are required when a commercial enterprise, government agency or, in some cases an individual, INADVERTENTLY, through its products or services causes catastrophic maiming, death and destruction to SUFFICIENT human beings that the company or agency is at risk of getting bad PR.

BAD PUBLIC RELATIONS!!!!!!!!

These "product" caused catastrophic incidents span an ever widening range including tires that strip from wheel rims at speed through to deadly poisons escaping from factories, massive plant explosions or even genetically engineered food stuffs, the scope of MAYHEM is so great I doubt it can be catalogued. The sources for MAYHEM and murder through BAD DECISIONS and LACK OF quality control and conscience in the better interest of obscene profit, is growing at an alarming rate if you are a victim, (beneficial rate if you are a risk consultant who fixes company bad image or embarrassment).

...............EVEN! Baby play dolls are reverting back to their raw material state, PCB's which they are now LEAKING ON YOUR CHILDREN, twenty years after the fact. LORD KNOWS, how many other product are loaded into the chamber of future catastrophe just waiting to go off. When they do - Oh dear, BAD PUBLIC RELATIONS, to be fixed again.
