If it looks like a duck......
I believe it was Einstein who observed that, "To
understand anything, look deep into nature", or something to
that effect. I did, and so as usual came back with some questions.
(My quest is finding good questions, for surely one good
questions is worth a ton of bad provided answers).
On this particular foray into pondering, this is what came to
mind; Are the abundant herds of herbivores, such as Wildebeest
and antelope, a clue to how nature has set up the world to
operate? These vast herds of "protein on the hoof"
sustain an entire ecology ranging from the higher carnivores such
as the great cats, to the middle class scroungers such as the
dogs and birds down through the breadcrumb clean-up crew of
insects and microbes.
My idle thinking began to wonder about the carnivores that
live and thrive around the edges of humanity. Not the kind that
devour us, but the kind that find economic sustenance through
distasteful means such as war, conflict, theft, trickery and
worse. Or how about those that feed from our bright spiritual
energy, sucking us dry and leaving black holes of negativity
behind?
The strangely different factions or fringes of humanity.
With such contrast between the seemingly same specie, are we
indeed all the same specie?
Physically, it sure seems so.
If this mix of folk seems to maintain an almost fixed ratio of
type, regardless of large herd desired standards and desires, is
it possible that "looking the same" is only one
dimension to be considered when "typing" humanity?
Could it be that to defeat the "intelligence" of the
masses, it was necessary for the spiritually defunct "type"
to evolve in the skin of the sheep?
Bizarre questions I know, but these can be the best kind. If
they are silly questions, blame Einstein, I do! *VBS*
Any thoughts?
