In the name of God Amen. The eleventh daiw of March in the yeare of the reigne of our sovairyne Lord James by the grace of God of England France and Ireland Kings Defender of the Faythe And of Scotland. The ………. and ……… And in the yeare of our Lord God one Thousand, Six hundred and thirtene I Robt Lytherdale of Hasillwood in the county of Suff and Diocesse of ……… Yeoman beinge of good mynd and perfyght rememberance thanks be given unto Allmyghtie god therefore doe ordaine and make this my prvte testament and last will conteyneinge my last will. Revokeinge all other wills, heretofore by me made in manner and forme followeinge.
First I Comyit my soule unto the mercyfull hands of All myghtye God my heavenly father, the creator of All men kinde. And to Jesus Christ my redeemer And to the holie ghost the comforter of all the blesat people of God. And my bodye to be buried in the church yearde of Hasillwood aforesaide or else where it shall please god to call me out of this prnte life, by the discretion of my executor or executors herafter named. And as foregoinge and these and such houses Cottages lands grounds and hereditaments meadows pastures andfarmed fedeinges, all such goods and Chattells as well moveable and umoveable. Wich have please God of his goodnes to lend and bestowe upon me in this transitorie lofe I do give and bequeathe them in manner and forme following. First I give and bequeathe unto Alice my welbeloved wief and unto Francis Lytherdale my sonne All these my Goods and Chattells as well moveable and imoveable as well inside the house as without the house of what kind nature and qualitye soever they be, and allso one fetherbedd with furniture that thereuntobelongeth which be and nowe and of late lent unto him my sonne George Lytherdale of Theberton in the county of Suff to them ther executors and assignes forweverunder the condition not with standinge I doe ordaine and make executors of this my prnte testament and last will in I doe put my wholle trust to the same executors and pformers In witnes whereof I have hereunto sett my hand and seale the daie and yeare above writtennin the .......... of ....... Upon this condition not withstandinge followeinge. That they the said Alice my wief and Francis my sonne shall deliver or cause to be delivered unto Mary Parke and Alice Parke unto either of them the daughters of John Parke and Mary his wief to either of them one calf of one yeare of age. And allso unto Robt Parke sonne of the said John Parke and his wief one cubbord three Tramalies or hales and also one payer of Maulte Querns standings and likewise unto George Lytherdale my sonne one copper nowe beinge in my own custodie and possession. All with some small gifts and legaces given as aforesaide unto the said severall parties I will shalbe deliver unto them and ........ of them in manner and forme aforesaide. Within one year next after my decease by thanks of my executors or executor ther exectuors or assignes of them or eyther And also upon condition that they or either of them shall paye and discjarge all such debts and legaces I doe unto ........ pson. And I doe ordaine and make the said Alice My wief and Francis my sonne exectors of this my prnte Testament and last will in whome I doe put my wholle trust and that they will be the same executors and pformers as my trust is in them.
